1. Beer sellers MUST NOT sell alcohol to anyone less than 21 years of age.  NEVER EVER!!
  2. Beer sellers MUST ID EVERYONE who appears under 30 every sale every time.
  3. Beer sellers MUST NOT accept any fake, expired, or mutilated ID’s.
  4. Beer sellers MUST NOT sell alcohol to anyone who might pass off to a person < 21.
  5. Beer sellers MUST stop a pass off to a minor if they suspect it.
  6. Beer sellers MUST NOT sell alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be intoxicated.
  7. Beer sellers MUST be 21 years of age to sell alcohol unless local law requires older.
  8. Beer sellers MUST limit the sale of alcohol to 2 beer per ID.
  9. If the customer already has a beer in their possession you may not sell to them until it is finished. 
  10. Beer sellers MUST NOT sell after the cut-off. You will be made aware of the cut-off.

Once you park, you will need to make your way to the check in building - it will be a storage POD with ticket windows.  Look for signs with EMS.

You will be parking and checking-in in the lot located in front of the Levy Restaurant office and Maintenance Buildings.  These are the white buildings with blue stripes along the top in the photo below.


If you get lost and need to ask for directions, please ask for the Levy Restaurant Office and Maintenance Building.


The address for your GPS will be 4515 Speedway Boulevard  Las Vegas, NV 89115 (this will put you directly in front of the check in location). 


You will be working for EMS, but EMS works for Levy Restaurants.

  1. Have fun with the job. Yes, fun and job in the same sentence?
  2. No alcohol or illegal drugs are to be consumed at or brought to any job.
  3. If you are terminated for theft or breach of any law you will be reported to local authorities.
  4. All shortages will be removed from your commission or your flat rate. 
  5. Absolutely no smoking once inside or in view of any and all stadiums/arenas you will work.
  6. You will need to follow all policies/laws when in EMS provided transportation or lodging. 
  7. Proper uniform needs to be worn at all times. Correct color and style of pant, closed toe shoe, shirt tucked in. 
  8. No selling of any product on the concourse in front of Concession Stands (unless told to do so)
  9. Never leave your tub unattended and never ever drag your tub on the ground.
  10. If vending, verify product count with room staff prior to leaving vending location.
  11. Must have a button, price sticker or menu identifying price to customers.
  12. Report spillage of ice or product to supervisor or usher immediately.
  13. Act professional and courteous to each person you come into contact with. Respect yourself and everyone.
  14. Be honest at all times. If you are not, it will catch up with you.
  15. Bring State ID with you to each event.
  16. Never bring food or beverage into the restrooms. After using restroom wash and dry your hands.
  17. Cell phone use is prohibited while working.

The gates to the event open at 7:00pm and we'd like to get you started selling to the thirsty fans as quickly as possible.

All vendors will be required to pre-buy their beer, water and other products from their designated vending locations.  No loaner loads will be provided. When you arrive to the venue you will be assigned to one of the vending locations throughout the venue. It is at this assigned vending location where you will pick up your valid ID (that you turn in at check in) from our EMS cashier. You will then purchase your first load of product in our predetermined load sizes.

Vendors for EDC will be paid via the normal payroll schedule, either a mailed check or direct deposit.


Vendor commission rate is 8% of net sales (total sales minus sales tax).

Individual vendors who sell over $5000 in a day will receive 10% of net sales. 

Vendors who sell less than $500 per day will not be allowed to return the next day. 

Average sales per day last year were $3600.00 

General Policies:

Please read this page entirely before requesting to work. All of the requirements will be verified before you are schedule to work. You must be 21 to work this event for EMS.

Pre-Buy Vending:

  1. Completed Levy Online test emailed to work@emsvending.com
  2. Completed new hire paperwork - link is sent in confirmation email to new employees  
  3. Valid State (any state) Issued ID *may NOT be a photo copy and may NOT be damaged/punched/expired
  4. Valid TAM card
  5. Money to prebuy your product - see Pre-Buy Vending description below - must be cash, no credit cards
  6. Black pants or shorts.  *Shorts must reach the knees. The venue is very strict about this make sure you are not wearing short shorts - you WILL be turned away at check-in.  
  7. Closed toed shoes, apron or fanny pack or something for money, headlamp
  8. You will be restricted to 1 or 2 glow sticks (more are not allowed).
  9. Something to eat and drink. The venue does not provide any food or drinks. If you want to bring water into the venue it must be in a gallon jug. No water bottles allowed and your vending location WILL NOT have complimentary water available for you. There are refillable water stations throughout the venue.  
  10. Good attitude and LOTS of energy.
  11. A cooler with wheels is allowed and recommended. You will need to provide this.  We will provide every vendor with a tub to carry the product. MUST REMAIN IN VENUE FROM FRIDAY TO SUNDAY
  12. Your own transportation - EMS does not provide transportation or reimburse for travel costs.

Walking Beer/Water Vendor Job Details:

The EDC Check-in location is different from any other event at the Speedway AND IS DIFFERENT THIS YEAR COMPARED TO OTHER YEARS OF EDC. Please review the multiple maps below to ensure you do not need to make a phone call at check in time to say that you are lost.  The address for your GPS will be 4515 Speedway Boulevard  Las Vegas, NV 89115 (this will put you directly in front of the check in location).

As a walking vendor, you will carry a tub or use a rolling cooler of beverages and walk throughout the venue selling to the fans as they enjoy the event. At EDC, our vendors sell products such as beer, water, and energy drinks. This is a great opportunity to make money while being a part of an awesome environment.  If you are hard working, self-motivated, and have a great personality, then this is the perfect job for you! You must be able to carry 20 pounds and walk continuously for a minimum of 10 hours. You will be paid via a mailed paycheck after the event is over. You will keep the cash tips that you make nightly.

1. Nevada TAM Card available via nevadadrinkcard.com

The track has an agreement with NevadaDrinkCard.com to get a discounted 4 year card for $15. If you want to use this service (you can use any service you'd like to obtain get the card) visit the website and click on link that says "Current Student Login" and then click on the "click here" which will take you to the login screen and enter "SPEEDWAY123" as the username and password. It is an online course. Please note the hours and location so that you can pick up your card during business hours. You can pay with credit card or cash. They ask that you bring correct change when picking up your card. Be sure to mention that this is for the Speedway so you can get the $15 price. The phone number for AES is 702-450-8800 and ask for David. Only call David if you have questions about the TAM card class. He will not know anything about this job.

Levy Restaurants Online Alcohol Compliance Training

All vendors must also go through the Levy Restaurants (our client) Alcohol Compliance Training which is a brief online training course. Here are the instructions to complete this course.

  • Job Title (select from drop down – Non-Profit**).  Non-Profit Group Name (EMS Vending) Location Code (select from the drop down - NV Las Vegas Motor Speedway). **EMS Vending is a FOR PROFIT company but to make it work on this website we have to select Non-Profit**
  • Answer the question about Felony
  • Skip over the employment history and Click “Begin”
  • There are 20 test questions that are presented along with the literature to read while answering this section. Once you have completed this section you will be taken to the test. After you have answered the 20 questions, Click “Review”
  • If you have answers that are incorrect, they will be highlighted in blue and you are able to go back and read over the information and correct you answer. Then click “I agree.”
  • The following screen will prompt you to put in an e-mail address. Please enter: work@emsvending.com. If you enter your own email address by mistake, please forward the results to work@emsvending.com - these results will be verified before you are allowed to work.
